Whether this is your first or your fifth, it’s a time to be celebrated. These are your very first memories with the little life you’ve created and will be welcoming into the world very soon.

When I was pregnant I thought I’d never forget what it was like or what I looked like - but I did. I didn’t get professional photos with all my pregnancies and the further I get from that time the more I wish I had.

My approach is intentional, meaning every shot is crafted to reflect your unique story and the excitement of welcoming a new member to your family.

Where to from here- planning your session

You’ve decided to have photos taken, now what?

Once you contact me we will work out a date that suits for your session. I will then send you a booking link to make everything official. A small, non-refundable deposit is due at this time to secure your session date. Your booking link will contain a questionnaire so I can get to know you and your family better and plan the perfect session for you. We will also work out a location and whether you prefer a sunrise or sunset session. While I have a distinct style and system in place to get us from start to finish efficiently, this isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. Each session is designed from a uniquely informed perspective that is guided by you, your family and your preferences.

The best time to get photos taken during your pregnancy is from week 32-36. We want to capture your beautiful growing bump but we don’t want you to feel too uncomfortable.

Outdoor sessions take place at sunrise or sunset for ideal light. In-home sessions can take place at your preferred time of day taking the light in your home into consideration.
Your booking link contains an invoice, questionnaire and contract. The questionnaire allows me to get to know you and your family a bit better so I can plan the perfect session for you.
I live in Helensburgh, NSW, and travel to South Sydney down to Wollongong for sessions. Maternity sessions can take place in your home or outside. I have a number of locations that I know work great for Maternity sessions, which I can send through if you don’t have a specific place in mind.
I have a selection of beautiful, one-size-fits-most dresses that are lovely for a maternity session. You can currently view them on my Instagram highlights - and soon I will have a style guide that you can view directly on this website. I can also send through a style guide if you’d like to select something of your own to wear, but need a little guidance.
I want this session to be catered specifically to you. So if there is anything about your relationship, journey to pregnancy, or overall story that you want to try to capture then let’s talk about it! I love when families bring along something that’s special to them or have an idea for a photo that is part of their story. For example, maybe you have ultrasound photos you’d like to incorporate, you’ve bought or made a special toy for the baby you’d like to bring along, or you’ve craved nothing but pizza this whole pregnancy - we can find a way to incorporate it in a beautiful or creative way.

FAQs

Maternity sessions can be done solo or with your entire immediate family. Solo sessions are a beautiful and empowering way to celebrate this time in your life. On the other hand, you may have 4 other kids and you want all of them present as well. Great! Bring them along and we’ll capture photos of the whole family, as well as some shots of just you and your bump.
Yes! When you receive your private, online gallery you will also have access to my online print and frame shop. I have partnered with two high-quality printers in Australia to bring my clients easy-to-access, beautiful products so that their photos can be properly showcased for years to come.
At the moment I am travelling up to approximately 30 mins from where I live in Helensburgh, NSW. This typically means as far north as South Sydney and as far south as Wollongong.
Of course! I would love that! I know of a couple beautiful beach locations that allow dogs. I’m a big dog-person, so I’d love to meet your furry family member.
